Zabljak is a tourist town, the highest in the Balkans, situated at 1,445 metres above sea level. Mount Durmitor, "the most beautiful severe scenery", even described by one of the greatest world travellers who added: “Nature created this mountain in its most powerful uncontrolled exhilaration, forming its chaotic relief which confuses and at the same time, dauntingly attracts!” That is the reason that it was the “home-place” of Duke Momcilo and his horse Jabucilo and many other legends about mountain heroes like Marko Kraljevic, fairies, dragons and devils.
