The hill of Trebjesa is a rich natural potential located near the town-centre and is very attractive for nature lovers as it has mountain biking tracks, tennis courts, the Trim Sports centre, a forest park and a hotel with a panoramic view.

Due to its natural characteristics, great scientific importance, aesthetic beauty, the landscape and its cultural and historical value, Trebjesa was placed under protection as a Special Natural Landscape, by the decision of the municipality of Niksic on December 27, 2000.

Trebjesa was included in the Central Register of Protected Monuments of Nature of the Republic of Montenegro on April 19, 2001.

Due to its rich flora, Trebjesa is included in the list of potential IPA's (important plant areas).
