Zdrebaonik Monastery is 2km from Danilovgrad.
The monastery complex consists of a church, a large dwelling and a line of one-floor buildings which used to serve as classrooms. The complex is surrounded by a high stone wall.
Since 1856, the Monastery keeps the mummy of St Arsenide of Srem, who was the heir to the throne of the Serbian Metropolitanate of St Sava.
Since 1991, the monastery became a convent and there are several nuns serving together with the Mother Superior. In the last few years, a modern monastery dwelling was built holding a library and a workshop where nuns “write icons”.
