What makes this place very interesting for those who like to watch birds is that in this area one can see flamingoes which are very rare birds. The cormorant often flies over here and this is a bird that is among the most endangered species in Europe. According to the Master Plan for Tourism Development (Boka Kotorska region) it is planned to gradually turn Tivat’s Solila into a birdwatching park.
