According to the sketches of Princess Jelena, detailed plan was developed by the French architect Fruche, while the sculptures were made by the Serbian artist Djordje Jovanović. Under the supervision of the Montenegrin engineer Andrija Radović, installation of the monument made of stone from Ljubovic (Podgorica), was made by Korcula's and local craftsmen. The road to mausoleum was built on the south-west side, near Cetinje Monastery
