The River Tara, with its sparkling rapids, waterfalls and clear whirlpools and with its 40 km of length passing through Mojkovac represents the ornament of this small town. On the twentieth kilometre from Mojkovac, the Tara River flows below the Crna Poda, a rare virgin forest with the black pine trees which can be 45m high. Here, piercing through the steep cliffs, the Tara River enters its famous canyon. The canyon offers the special attraction and that is a wild animal - the chamois.
