It was built in the 15th century, and its present-day appearance is significantly different from its original one. The building was much smaller, its first floor was built of stone and the second floor was built of wood. The mosque was covered with boards. The mosque was expanded in 1901, testified to by a plaque with an inscription kept in the mosque. The minaret is made of wood. The mosque is under protection of the Bureau for the Protection of Cultural Monuments.
