Archaeological research done by the Bureau for the Protection of Monuments has established that the remains of material culture from the Neolithic period exist in the Ivangrad Basin. Also, traces of Illyrian material culture were found, therefore it can be presumed that the area of Andrijevica was an ecumenical area of all ancient nations.
